This sensor is ideal to use with a open stair installation. The sensor can be mounted in the ceiling above the stairs.
The sensitivity of this sensor can be adjusted, the range is about 7m with an angle of 100°. The supplyvoltage is 5V (Can be connected directly to the stair lighting controller).
