Use of personal data
In order to process your order we need some personal information like name, address, email, phone number and optional a company name and VAT number.
Your address will be used to make an invoice and to send the order. The phone number is only used on the custom forms on shipments where this is required.
The email address will only be used to inform you about the status of the order.
How long is the data kept?
Name, address and invoices are kept at least 7 years due to the retention rules of the tax authorities and cannot be removed. Other information like email address and phone number we also keep for 7 year, but these can be removed if desired. Email and other communications are stored for a limited time, mostly they are removed after 2 years, but do not have a fixed
Who has access to your data?
Your data is only shared with other companies if it is absolutely necessary.
Parcelservice: They need your address in order to deliver the parcel at the correct address.
Accountant: They receive our sale Invoices to process in the accounts
Paypal: When Paypal payment is selected, some data is shared with paypal to make the payment possible.
IT service providers: These store the data of the website and the email correspondence. These companies are either located in the European Union or have registered under the privacy shield that offers sufficient protection.
In case of fraud (investigation) it may be that we have to share your data with the government.
